HDFS 21000 - Introduction To Human Development
Associated Term: Spring 2020
Learning Objectives: 1. Identify key physical, cognitive, emotional, and social characteristics at each life stage.2. Identify the basic tenets of leading theories in human development.3. Distinguish among prominent methods used in developmental research and identify their strengths and weaknesses.4. Explain the relationships among different domains of development (i.e. biological, psychological, and social) and how they affect one another across the life course.5. Make predictions about developmental outcomes that are grounded in theory.
