MET 32900 - Applied Heat Transfer
Associated Term: Fall 2017
Learning Objectives: 1. Define the terms conduction, convection, radiation and associated vocabulary.2. Develop appropriate mathematical techniques and equations in heat transfer.3. Apply the problem solving methodology to heat transfer situations.4. Analyze the solutions to validate assumptions and other possible outcomes.5. Apply the heat transfer principles in the design of heat transfer equipment.6. Test the validity of theoretical concepts learned in selected laboratory experiments.
